Step 1: In the Dashboard.. scroll down to PLUGINS
Step 2: Under the PLUGINS tab… click on ADD NEW
Step 3: Now it is time to make a decision. Is it a FREE Plugin? Then you will be able to find it directly through WordPress.org and will not have to leave your site to install the plugin. When you get to the page to add a new PLUGIN, type in its name
Srep 4: You might want to check out some key criteria. When was the plugin last updated? How many current users does the plugin have? What are the reviews on the plugin like?
Now is the time to make up your mind…
Step 5: If decide that you want to at least try this Plugin out, hover over the Plugin and click INSTALL. Then hover over it again and click ACTIVATE. From there you can test it out and see if it does what you need it to do for you. If you don’t like it, simply deactivate it and eventually delete it.
There are so many Plugins. You know the expression, “there is an App for that”. Well, there is a plugin for that. Plugins can add all sorts of functionality to your website. Trey some out. See which ones work for you. Everyone has different needs so a plugin that works for oe person is not always the one that works best for another. Happy exploring.
